Last September, the ICOM triennial was held, fortunately taking place in the city of Valencia. It is the most international congress among all those we have had the privilege to attend.
Our delegation had the opportunity to engage with some of the intriguing topics discussed related to the present and future of museums. Art restorers from around the world shared their work methods and research, exchanging the latest techniques and technological innovations.
We participated with a booth and an “impromptu” presentation where we analyzed various lighting sources available in the market from a spectral perspective. We explored their relationship with human vision, specifically addressing the requirements of art restoration work.
We have shared a summary of our participation on our Instagram account, which we invite you to follow.
